Condolence & Memory Journal

RIP dear Uncle Bill and condolences to Linda, Marilyn, Bill Jr. and the family and friends he leaves behind. Because we lived in CA I only was able to see him a few times over the years. He indeed often seemed a silent stalwart next to his effusive wife Florence when they were together. When I spent time with him separately, I was impressed by his sense of humor, easy smile and the twinkle in his eye. He had such a great laugh! He and my Mom, his sister, could laugh to tears. When we visited Uncle Bill in Cleveland, we went with him a few times to Thistledown where he seemed to delight in his time there though he always kept his tips to himself! His Cousin Sr. Joachim (RIP) enjoyed going with us one time and another time or two his brother, my Uncle John, also joined us. What fond memories! He seemed proud of his family and my mother told me he had a very strong work ethic.

Uncle Bill, always a kind word and a smile. He loved his family including all the Koss clan [talk about the heart of a true Christian!!!] I will miss him...

Although I had never met Mr.Dick, I used to work with his daughter Marilyn at Daves Supermarket. She always talked about her dad in such beautiful terms. I am taking care of my 94 year old mom at home , and could empathize with their situation. Not an easy one. God bless the family and give everyone peace and joy.

May he rest in God's peace. He was a good man. He built my grandmother's house and many others on that street. Loved his laugh.
