Condolence & Memory Journal

My deepest condolences on the passing of Vic. This is Phyllis Malatesta Malpas, daughter of Jim and Antoinette Malatesta. I remember Vic and Mary very well from long ago, never forget those times, when they visited or we were welcomed to their home, or saw them at the Corio's house. My husband Mark and I have lived in South Carolina for more than 20 years. All good thoughts are with you at this time.

One of my most difficult decisions was to tell Rick that I had a commitment and could not celebrate Victor's funeral. Being the chaplain for the Cleveland Chapter of Legatus, I am also unable to get to the Wednesday wake. I did offer a Mass for Victor the day after Rick's call and will offer another the morning of his funeral. He was a terrific husband and father to four fantastic sons. Each one will carry on the memory of their father in their lives. You have my deepest sympathy and the assurance of my prayers. God bless!
