Condolence & Memory Journal

Rest easy Ajay, you're always with me

Ajay I thank you for being a father for me, seeing the best in me that as young soldier that had lost his mother could not see in himself. You were my protector, and brought me through so much pain! You believed in me, and treated me like a son. I constantly quote so many Ajayisms. You will always live in my heart. You knew how much I loved you! But God loved you more! Rest my friend! REST!

You are truly missed MSGT Mastrobuono. All that loud verbal counseling I constantly required has stayed with me from age 17 when you got me, to age 51 now. You put yourself between me and the brass on a few occasions. You didn't have to that, but you genuinely cared about your troops. You are a good man and great example. Love you. God Bless.

Ajay, when thinking of my early teen years I can't help reflect of time spent at your home along with all the neighborhood kids at your home! You were so good to all of us and thanks to Facebook we were able to connect and later able to visit as adults with your lovely wife Bonnie!
I will treasure those memories and keep your memory in my heart and will keep closer touch with your beautiful creation of a daughter, Michelle!!!! Rest easy friend!!
